If you're saying to yourself, this isn't a business website, yeah, you're right. I bought the domain because I thought it was cool and unique (and chrisknowles.com has been taken forever by some guy in England).  In here, I will provide lots of information on all the stuff that makes me ... well, me!  As of January 1st, 2026 I officially "retired" after 13 wonderful years at Microsoft and over 40 years in Technology. Now, I take care of my wife, run pool leagues and not much else (yet). However, I am always willing to listen to any idea for collaboration that might excite me. So, this site is where I get to put some of the "stuff" out there in the ether about what I might be up to at the moment. Given that, there is some business stuff here, mixed in with all the personal stuff.

Also, my interests tend to shift from one place to another over time (and then back again) and I am rather obsessive when I delve into a new area - well, except for Technology that is.  That seems to have been put in my DNA by the Lord God Almighty Himself ... it will always be a part of who I am AND what I do.

Well, as a true lover of the John Wick Universe, I have decided that my new personal motto is Fortune Favors the Bold. Not because I want to be John Wick (although, that would be pretty cool), but because there is no point to living this life unless you're going to pursue it with everything you have.

Currently, I am a League Operator for both American Cuesports Alliance (ACS) and CueSports International (BCAPL) in the Metro-Atlanta area.  If you are a pool player and want to join one of the best league systems around, look us up!
